LOGISTICS OPERATIONS / TRAINING & EXPERIMENT MATERIAL SUPPORT MANAGER

Position Description:

Claxton Logistics Services LLC, a leader in the logistics community, is looking for a qualified Logistics Operations / Training & Experiment Material Support Manager to join our team. The Logistics Operations / Training & Experiment Material Support Manager has experience providing logistical and material support for military exercises, experiments, and real-world support.

Key areas of support include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in and report on site surveys and other planning events.
  • Serve as observer/controller, watch officer, data collectors and in other support billets during training and execution of live-force experiments.
  • Maintain local CMR inventory of gear and equipment purchased by MCWL EXDIV.
  • Assist and maintain items listed on DPAS-CAR account items belonging to MCWL EXDIV.
  • Receive with delegation of authority to sign for CLASS I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII and IX supply items as directed by Responsible Officer.
  • Collect, record, analyze, and interpret the events occurring in live-force experiments or simulations to include wargames.
  • Participate in the data reduction, analysis and assessment of information taken from experiments.
  • Participate in and support the construction, production and delivery of briefs, report of any type, presentations and conferences to review experiment findings.
  • Plan the development of process, procedure, design, coordination, and execution of User Evaluations (UE), Limited Technical Assessments (LTA), Limited Objective Experiments (LOE), MAGTAF Integrated Experiments (MIX), Advanced Naval Training Exercises (ANTX), Advanced Warfighting Experiments (AWE) and other experiments.
  • Create DOTMLPF recommendations in writing and edit interim and final report on UEs, LTAs, LOEs, MIXs, ANTXs, AWEs and letters of instruction for experiment execution.
  • Support working groups, operational planning teams and other designated efforts with administration, organization, and facilities.
  • Review information papers and other briefs/documents as required to support experiment efforts.
  • Coordinate with Futures Analysis Cell and Experiment Design Cell at MCWL/FD to provide input for the Data Collection and Analysis Plan (DCAP) for specific experiments.
  • Provide risk assessments and recommendations during planning and execution of experiments.

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of military command and control and military C2 operations as they apply to exercises, experiments, and real-world operations.
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in mathematics, the physical sciences, or engineering and a background in military operations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in mathematics, the physical sciences, or engineering and at least six (6) years cumulative experience as a C2 analyst or least ten (10) years of active military service.

Security Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and retain the designated Government clearance (Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)).

Requirements:

Must be a US Citizen with a current U.S. Passport.

Possession of a valid driver’s license and availability of private transportation is required.
