U.S. Army Futures Command Modernization Support Services

Claxton staff provide the US Army (USA) Futures Command, Sustainment Capabilities and Integration Directorate (SCDID) with programmatic and technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) staff supporting the Army Modernization Strategy (AMS) for Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) by 2028. This entails supporting numerous action officer (AO) level integrated product teams (IPTs) and working groups (WGs); reviewing sustainment doctrinal and modernization documents; and identifying/classifying the support impacts of those initiatives (i.e., Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P)) on the current and evolving USA force structure.

Claxton provides the SCDID resident logistics expertise supporting sustainment integration across all Cross Functional Teams (CFTs), ensuring comprehensive sustainability analysis is conducted for Army combat systems, units, and mission roles, in support of MDO.

USCG CG-44 Integrated Logistics Assessments

Claxton staff support the US Coast Guard (USCG) CG-44 Acquisition Directorate with Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs) and Logistics Readiness Reviews (LRRs) to assess major/non-major program compliance with existing acquisition logistics plans, processes, and policies. ILA/LRR assessments are required prior to milestones and Acquisition Decision Events (ADEs) 1 - 4. Our logistics staff provide resident expertise with the USCG Major System Acquisition Manual (MSAM); COMDTINST M5000.10 (series); Non-Major Acquisition Process (NMAP) Manual; COMDTINST M5000.11 (series); USCG Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manual; COMDTINST M4105.14 (series); and DHS Acquisition Directive 102-01, Appendix J, to validate compliance.

Claxton SME staff prepare, plan, coordinate, and execute ILA and/or LRR assessments and report findings to the designated Program Manager (PM), or Logistics Element Manager (LEM).
